First Camp at Koojarewon aims to develop students' sense of self as they tackle the excitement and unknown of a night away from home.

Our team has considered the challenges facing junior school students on their first camp and addressed each hurdle to ensure a positive growing experience.

SCHOOL VISIT
Our team come to visit the students at school in the lead up to camp to help ease any nerves (*up to 1hr away from Koojarewon).
EXCLUSIVE use
Being an exclusive site provides the luxury of being the only group onsite at a time. Exclusivity creates more intimate social interaction for your group. Our team will be completely dedicated to your needs during your stay at Koojarewon.
ACTIVITIES
Our activities are one hour in length to suit little bodies, which also leaves time for supervised free play to finish the afternoon.
Our team
Each dedicated team member is highly skilled, with ChildSafe training and working with children Blue Cards. They can't wait to help little campers have an amazing first camp experience. Our team knows how to walk the fine line between professional facilitator and fun filled role model.
SUPER CLOSE
Koojarewon is set upon an inviting 16 acres of beautiful bushland in Highfields. Only a quick 20-min bus ride from Toowoomba - not too far from home (for students and parents!).
Easy planning
We'll facilitate the super smooth process from start to finish including program quote, booking, risk assessments, camper info, etc. It's like having your own camp planning personal assistant!

The entire team was very helpful, kind and interacted well with our students. There's nothing we can think of that would make camp better, the activities were outstanding and it's perfect for this age group! We will be back!
I loved everything about camp. Everyone enjoyed the games. I loved the food and unpredictable things that happened. I hope I can come another time. If I were judging camp I would give it 5 stars.

The team at Koojarewon were very professional and worked really well with the kids. The grounds and facilities are just excellent. Staff were fabulous - focusing on the kid's teamwork and cooperation was impressive. Overall the staff at Koojarewon were just exceptional.
We loved everything about our camp experience. It was wonderful to see some students really step up and lead the way. It was also interesting for us as teachers to really step back and observe our students and how they cope with challenges.
